Tomorrow’s Norooz Event at National Portrait Gallery

Free screening tomorrow, March 23rd, at 7.30pm! At 7pm we’ll have a haft seen table and a discussion with Dr Khodadad Rezakhani on the pre-Zoarastrian roots of Norooz and meanings behind the objects on the table. If you don’t want to see the film wander around the gallery, bathe in the joy of portraiture while listening to Iranian music from 1940s to the present day. My favourite is the one of poet Alfred Lord Tennyson. The man is a storm in a suit. Here are directions, nearerst tube Charing Cross, or Leicester Square.
