Today’s Six Pillars – Resistance, War, Surveillance

Things We Count – Ahmet Ogut

Today 13.30, repeating Sunday 20.30 GMT, Turkish artist Ahmet Ögüt has his first solo show at London’s Delfina Foundation. His three videos on display are set in the Occupy Wall Street camp, New York, a fighter plane graveyard USA, and a fictional war-game computer animation.

In this interview he discusses his travels, the culture and power of persistence and non-violent resistance, different linguistic nuances in naming and his current work with Tate Learning involving refugees here in London.
