LEGKS Troupe Present:
THE TALE OF PRINCE SIYAVUSH
In this story taken from Firdausi’s epic, the Shahnama (The Persian Book of Kings), young Prince Siyavush must prove his innocence by riding unharmed through a blazing fire. Presented over three days by the LEGKS Troupe in Persian. The tale is recounted in traditional style of naghali, a dynamic form of storytelling historically performed in public coffee houses, with music and acrobatics.
