Persian Puzzle Rug, a Persian carpet for kids is by Katrin Sonnleitner. The puzzle pieces are made of a recycleable mix of natural and synthetic rubber. While Persian rugs have been hand-knotted for thousands of years, this one was produced by water jet cutting (used in various industries including mining and aerospace for cutting, shaping and so on.)

The arrangement of the knots in different colours forms the ornamental pattern of the rug. Puzzle your own floor or wall decor (this is is not something we’re advising however, walls are tricky to get right).
1225 pieces each 28 x 28mm large, are create one square meter of rug. Compare that to 500.00 hand-produced knots for the same in a real Persian rug…
