Artist’s Focus – Neda Dana-Haeri

Inspired by Persian nedapoetry, Dana-Haeri has developed her own confident and indirect way of expressing the lofty concerns of which Persian poets and mystics once wrote, and which are still recited today. Here Dana-Haeri explains how she began her practise, what her influence was and the extent to which poetry is part of her everyday interior and  collective life.

Drawing also from classical Persian myth and philosophy her practise has burgeoned alongside her curating  since early 00’s.

May 31st June 16th 2013 Dana-Haeri takes part in a Six Pillars exhibition in London, “New Players, New Roles” that examines how a search for truth can reveal axioms about us as viewers and artists that are at once true and inaccurate.
