London Film School host a free screening of Falling Leaves (2013, 85mins), a feature film starring Masoud Rayegan written and directed by Ali Jaberansari an MA graduate of the school, for whom this is his debut film.
Produced by Jaberansari’s own company Here & There Productions, the film was shot in Iran with post-production in London last summer 2013, already attracting a view in Variety magazine. Here & There are a boutique production company based in London, UK who develop shorts and feature films with post production and DVD and Blu Ray authoring on their list of serviecs.
Founded by Ali Jaberansari, a graduate of London Film School, the company has produced his short film ”Aman” (35mm, 27mins, 2011) which was awarded the Cine+ prize at Angers Premiers Plans Film Festival and the MEO Prize at Lisbon & Estoril International Film Festival.
The plot of Falling Leaves sees Amir try to convince his son in California to leave his American girlfriend and return to Iran in order to save the traditional family business. But when Amir, who is clearly in the Autumn of his own life, meets a woman from his past, he is forced to rethink both his choices and priorities in life.
