For this week’s show we hear from curator and photography professor Flounder Lee, as he tours the Interference show at Dubai’s Farjam Foundation gallery. The video works in the show include three Iranian artists all of whom have been on the Six Pillars radio show in the past: Anahita Razmi, Shoja Azari and Shahram Karimi.

Lee also documents other artists across the world who are using new media in creative ways, and causing interference. As a sound artist in the UAE, show host Fari Bradley was much amused by the ‘interference’ in the wireless headphones accompanying the video installations by almost every local radio station. Six Pillars broadcasts Tuesdays 21:00hrs UK time and repeats Thursdays 16:00hrs. Listen on 104.4FM in London or online everywhere else with this radio player.
